What is Pine Pellet?

Pine pellets are biomass pellet fuel produced by compressing pine tree sawdust, wood chips, or wood residue. They are primarily used in residential and industrial heating systems. They are a natural, renewable, and environmentally friendly energy source.

What are Pine Pellets?
Raw Material: 100% pine wood (especially dry sawdust and woodchip)
Shape: Cylindrical, 6-8 mm in diameter and 2-4 cm long
Usage: Pellet stoves, boilers, furnaces, heating systems

Pine Pellet Properties:
Density: Approximately 650–750 kg/m³ (loose), 1.1–1.3 kg/dm³ (compressed)
Moisture: 6%–10% (dried)
Calorific value: 4,500–5,000 kcal/kg
Ash content: 0.3–0.7% (very low)
Color: Light yellow to golden brown
Odor: Natural wood scent
Environmentally friendly: Low CO₂ emissions, considered carbon neutral

Advantages of Pine Pellets:
🔥 Provides high combustion efficiency (up to 90%)
♻️ Does not pollute the environment because it is natural and additive-free
💨 Low ash content makes cleaning the stove or boiler easier
🌍 Carbon neutral: the CO₂ released when burned is equal to the CO₂ retained by the tree throughout its life
🧩 Easy feeding in automatic systems (regular size and density)
⚠️ Important Notes:
Quality pine pellets do not contain additives (no resin, glue, or adhesives)
♻️ Should not be stored in humid environments; if they absorb water, their thermal efficiency decreases.
Proper storage and ventilation should be provided.
